rudimentary understanding of
risk and the risk management

Basic risk management

This one-day risk management
course explores risk
management at a basic level.
Intermediate risk

This two-day intermediate
level risk management course
explores risk management in
more depth.
Advanced risk
management – Managing Risk

This is an advanced course
of either two x 2-day or one
four-day block of
face-to-face teaching in
workshops plus an assignment
spread over several days or

between corporate social

Chris Peace teaches two

Massey University. These
papers are intended for
people who seek an academic
grounding in the theory and

In May 2009 we ran a series
of two-day Risk Management
courses for the
Institute of Internal
Auditors. 100% of
participants said the course
met objectives, that course
handbooks were satisfactory
or better, that course
content was satisfactory or
better and that training
aids were satisfactory or
better; 92% said the length
of the course just right (8%
said the course was too
short).
We regularly run other one

Public sector
In June 2009, we ran a one
day “Risk Management for
Policy Analysts” course via
the
School
of Business and Government.
On a scale of 1-5, all
participants rated the
course as 4 or 5 (most
positive). Participants were
